FEW is an open platform that considers Fashion Eduation a cataliyst for change. A spa e for conversations led by fashion educators, students, industry professionals, fashion brands, and the general public to explore the intersections between fashion design, creeative instustries, and social justice.
The convening will include guest lectures, open classes, workshops, readings, active-making, and special sessions.
Interfaith + Fashion Open Conversation and Workshop, Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 led by Fiona Dieffenbacher. Participants were invited to read and respond to the written muslin reflections created at the Fashion-Faith: Rituals and Dialogues (FFRD) in March, 2023. They selected those which resonated most, then stitched these onto a larger collective cloth, adding their own responses in thread, embroidered motifs or written word. Conversation flowed throughout the open-ended making session. This larger cloth was reconfigured and displayed in the FFRD Exhibition in 2026.
